“Every load passes through me before it sees a transfer station.”
Martin Rebhahn
Martin started hauling in Portland in 2016 with a pickup truck and a belief that junk removal could be done without dumping everything at the nearest transfer station. Eight years later, that belief is operational fact. Every load passes through three diversion checkpoints—recyclables, donatables, reusables—before anything goes to disposal. At Martin’s, that’s not a marketing claim. It’s the job description.
Based in the Portland metro, Martin’s routes recyclables through Far West Recycling, Metro Central, and Ridwell. Donatables go to Community Warehouse, Free Geek, and Habitat ReStore when possible. Furniture and appliances in usable condition are diverted for reuse where accepted. Martin personally handles every job—there’s no franchise crew with a clipboard, no rotating roster. When you call, you get Martin.
