Eight years later, that belief is operational fact. Every load passes through three diversion checkpoints—recyclables, donatables, reusables—before anything goes to disposal. Based in the Portland metro, Martin’s routes recyclables through Far West Recycling, Metro Central, and Ridwell. Donatables go to Community Warehouse, Free Geek, and Habitat ReStore when possible. Furniture and appliances in usable condition are diverted for reuse where accepted. Martin personally handles every job—there’s no franchise crew with a clipboard, no rotating roster.
